Chad Baccus

Chad grew up in Lubbock, Texas and owned his first business when he was just twelve years old. He attended Arizona State and then transferred to Texas Tech University where he ultimately received a degree in General Business with a minor in Finance. He moved to San Antonio upon graduation and immediately started working for a well-known home builder. After a few years of working for the home builder, he decided it was time to take a leap and let his own home-building company take off- Baccus Homes. He wanted to fill gaps he saw in the major builder businesses and focus more on the customer and doing things the "right" way instead of the fast, easy way. As a second-generation custom home builder, Chad has an extensive eye for detail. He developed visualization skills at a young age that has aided his clients in making better decisions throughout the home-building process.

He spent ten years in San Antonio building in many popular communities and upper-scale neighborhoods all the while making his clients his friends. Due to word of mouth and referrals, he quickly started building throughout the Austin area as well and ultimately decided to take his talent to Georgetown, Texas where he has worked for the last five years as a custom home builder and developer.

As the business grew rapidly, he decided it was time to partner with one of his long-time friends and a very skilled home builder, Yancy Jackson. He is thrilled to be able to work with more clients while still offering his detailed mind and small-town attitude. In his spare time, Chad enjoys watching college football, golfing, skiing in Colorado, and spending time with his three children.

Yancy Jackson

A 6th generation Texan, Yancy grew up in Lubbock where he spent time working for his family’s concrete construction business. While it was difficult work, it has proven invaluable throughout his career having taught him the value of hard work and integrity at a young age. After graduating from Texas Tech University his past construction experience led him to home building and Austin in 2000. After spending several years working for a volume home builder, he moved to a custom construction company where he spent 16 years. Over the years he has served in a number of roles from the superintendent, head of construction and ultimately managing all facets of their Build on Your Lot program. As time passed Yancy began to miss the hands-on side of construction management and partnered with a close friend in Chad Baccus to provide a personalized one on one experience on a smaller scale. When not at work Yancy enjoys getting outdoors as much as possible and spending time with his wife Katie,

their horses and two labs.
